At Brahma Yoga, we believe that yoga is a healing science.
Along with traditional Hatha and Vinyasa foundations, our course integrates basic yoga therapy to help you understand the body, support healing, and guide students safely with awareness.
Even in the 100-hour program, students begin learning how to observe the body, recognise imbalances, and apply basic therapeutic techniques within their own practice.
What You Will Learn in Yoga Therapy:
-
Spinal Awareness & Back Care
Understanding the natural curves of the spine, safe movement, and relieving lower back tension.
-
Joint Safety & Knee Care
How to protect knees in asanas, proper alignment, and strengthening surrounding muscles.
-
Managing Cramps & Fatigue
Learning simple stretches, hydration awareness, and breathwork for release.
-
Healing Overworked Muscles
Techniques to gently re-activate and balance overstretched or tired areas.
-
Mindful Alignment & Body Awareness
Building functional, safe movement patterns for long-term practice.
-
Pranayama & Meditation
