Brahma Yoga – Participant Agreement & Terms and Conditions
By participating in any yoga-related activities offered by Brahma Yoga, I voluntarily agree to the following terms and conditions:

1. Participation Agreement

I acknowledge and willingly participate in all yoga-related activities provided by Brahma Yoga, including but not limited to: asana practice, meditation, pranayama, philosophy discussions, sound healing, and hands-on adjustments.

I understand that yoga requires physical and mental strength and stability. It is my responsibility to consult a physician prior to participation to ensure I am medically fit.

I voluntarily assume full responsibility for any risk of injury, illness, or other complications that may arise during participation. I will bear all medical or related expenses that may result.

I understand that activities may occur in unfamiliar or outdoor environments and may involve exposure to challenges such as local weather, food, and cultural conditions.

If I am dissatisfied with any services or accommodations, I will independently arrange and cover any alternative solutions.

I understand that physical adjustments may be offered by instructors as part of the yoga experience. I consent to such adjustments, but I may decline by informing the instructor.

I am solely responsible for my personal belongings. Brahma Yoga is not liable for any loss, theft, or damage.

I understand that schedules, course content, and organizational aspects may change, but Brahma Yoga will maintain the overall focus and integrity of the program.
​2. Booking and Payment

A non-refundable deposit of 30% of the total course or retreat fee is required minimum one month before to secure your spot.

The remaining balance must be paid in full at the latest on the first day of the course or retreat, in cash/credit card/or via online transfer (including any applicable transaction charges).

Package Options: For 100 H, 200 H & 300 H, we offer only two options:

With food and accommodation / Without food and accommodation
-
We do not offer separate packages for only food or only accommodation.
-
We don't offer in between package (ex. no 150 H possible)
The starting date of the course is defined by the school. Brahma yoga won't accommodate other starting date.
Any prior classes and prior occupation of accommodation will be charged on top of the course fee.

Non-Refundable Services: If you choose not to stay in the provided accommodation or choose not to have meals, the amount paid is non-refundableunder any circumstances

3: Cancellation and Refund Policy

All payments are non-refundable. In the event of cancellation—regardless of the reason— non refunded will be issued under any circumstances. Instead, participants will receive a voucher equivalent to the paid amount, which can be used toward any future course or retreat.

The voucher is: Valid for 2 years from the date of issue. Applicable at both Brahma Yoga locations (Goa and Dharamshala).

4. Course Participation & Certification

Full attendance of all scheduled sessions is required unless prior approval is given. To receive Yoga Teacher Training Certification, students must complete 100% attendance and successfully pass any assessments. Brahma Yoga retains the right to determine course completion and certification eligibility.

If missed classes, the classes won't be repeated by the teacher.
5. Health and Responsibility

Students must disclose any pre-existing medical or mental health conditions prior to enrollment. Participation is at your own risk. Brahma Yoga and its teachers are not responsible for any injuries sustained during the program. Students are responsible for their own travel and medical insurance throughout the duration of the course or retreat.
6. Code of Conduct

Respectful and kind behavior is expected toward all teachers, staff, and fellow students at all times.

Drug use is strictly prohibited during the course or retreat.
7. Accommodation (If Provided)

Maintain cleanliness and be respectful of shared spaces and fellow guests.

Any damages caused to the property must be compensated by the student.
8. Meal Policy
-
Meals are planned from Monday breakfast to Saturday lunch. No meals are served Saturday dinner or Sunday.

Skipping meals, for any reason (including religious reasons like Shabbat), does not qualify for a refund or rescheduling.

If you plan to skip a meal, you must inform the kitchen at least 4 hours in advance.

The kitchen staff prepares a set menu. We can accommodate only: Vegan, Dairy-free, Gluten-free diets

Other dietary requirements cannot be accommodated.

Students are not allowed in the kitchen
9. Beverage Policy

Students may consume up to 4 drinks per day (tea, coffee, herbal drinks, etc.).

Any additional drinks will be charged and must be paid at the café counter the same day.
10. Course Extension Policy (100-Hour Students)

Students enrolled in a 100-hour course (with or without food and accommodation) must inform the team at least 4 days in advance, if they wish to extend or upgrade their course to 200-hours.

Payment must be completed the same day at the counter if the extension is confirmed.
11. Guests and Visitors

If a student invites their partner or family member to stay in the same room, an additional accommodation fee applies.
-
This amount must be paid at the counter on the same day.
12. Media and Privacy
-
I consent to photos or videos being taken during the course or retreat for Brahma Yoga’s promotional use.
-
I may also take photos or videos, provided I have prior consent from anyone featured in the content.
-
All personal data collected will be kept confidential and used only for program-related communication.
13. Changes or Cancellations by the School

Brahma Yoga reserves the right to cancel or reschedule a course due to:

Low enrollment
-
Natural disasters
-
Teacher emergencies
-
In such cases, students will receive a full refund or the option to reschedule. Brahma Yoga is not responsible for additional expenses (e.g., flights, visas).
14. Fixed Cost and Voucher Policy
-
Once the course begins, fixed organizational costs are non-refundable, non-cancellable, and non-transferable.
